County Council 

 In Jefferson County, MO. we have 7 County Council Districts. Each District has an elected County Council Member that represents the residents of those districts. After the November 2022 Elections the new County Council Members effective Jan. 1, 2023 are:

District 1 - Brian Haskins  covers the High Ridge, Byrnesmill and the Jefferson County side of Eureka (Hwy. W) area.

District 2 - Billy Crow covers Imperial, parts of Fenton area

District 3 - Lori Arons covering the Arnold area

District 4 - Charles Groeteke  covers the Barnhart, Kimswick, parts of Imperial area

District 5 - Scott Seek  covers the Pevely, Herculaneum, Crystal City, Festus, and Southeast corner of the county

District 6 - Tim Brown covers the Desoto, Olympian Village, parts of Hillsboro area

District 7 - Bob Tullock  covers the Cedar Hill, Dittmer and parts of House Springs area

The next Elections for County Council seats will be for Districts 2, 4 and 6 during the August 2024 Primaries and November 2024 General Election.

Qualifications as outlined in the County Charter Section 12

SECTION 12.2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO BE ELECTED.

To be qualified to be elected to any elective office, a Person must meet the following minimum requirements, in addition to every other qualification requirement for that office specified in this Charter:

12.2.1. He or she must be a Registered Voter in Jefferson County at the time of filing for election;

12.22. He or she must be a resident of Jefferson County for the twelve months before he or she files for election;

12.2.3. He or she must be at least 24 years of age when he or she files for election; and

12.2.4. He or she must be a Citizen for twelve months before he or she files for election.

To be qualified to serve in any elective office, a Person must meet the same rilinimum requirements throughout his or her period of service.
